Registration closes May 30Description Curious about figurative art? The subject of the human face and body has fascinated artists across cultures and throughout history. Taking notes from art history as well as contemporary art, immerse yourself in the artistic study of the portrait and the figure. Working from observation of both a live nude model and photographic or sculptural sources, youβll paint and draw with a variety of both traditional and experimental methods, using a broad range of materials from charcoal to oil paint. Beginners through advanced students will benefit from our creative and technical exercises in class, designed to enhance your knowledge and build your skills from any level of experience.
